It seems like this little purple Minibit has spotted some new items stocking in shops - if you want your Starbit to have a taste of nature, the wet leaf is certainly the way to go. Not a herbivore but have a sweet tooth? No problem! This new slice of chocolate cake will surely satisfy anyone's hunger!

The most awesome Sweety has redrawn the Orvos! Orvos were the first species on Starbits to be created by somebody other than myself. They were so cute that I couldn't resist adding them to the Starbits world! Now they look even more awesome and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Sweety!

Also, thanks to everyone who participated in last nights Winter Celebration festivities. The Marshmallow Man has left, but don't worry soon he'll send you guys packages containing your prizes. Everyone who claimed even one marshmallow gets a prize, and those who somehow managed to get all get something extra extra special. And lastly, the Snow Sculpture Contest has ended, and soon you all will be voting on your favorites to determine the winner! :D And even more updates and fun are coming through the next few days so don't run off just yet.

The Winter Celebration Bonfire has begun! You can go to the fire and roast marshmallows, as well as chat with other users on the Fireside Chat tagboard. The Marshmallow giveaway will start at 9:00 Starbits Time. New marshmallows will now be given out ever two hours to make it a little more manageable to complete the marshmallow collection contest. Enjoy the festive fun~! :D

Introducing the Bita Central P.O.! You can now send multiple items in a package for a small fee. It only costs 50 bits to send one item, and an extra 10 bits per extra item. You can have it shipped on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday night for free or you can ship it immediately for a bit extra.

You can also send one item wrapped up present style and have it delivered with a message any day within the next month you like for only 500 bits. Just in time for the winter celebration too! Don't forget to send all your buddies presents! :D

Perhaps we really didn't need a remake of the item sending script, but this is more interesting to me and I was already half way done with it. Plus now you can send multiple items at a time, which is much more convenient. Either way, if you ever need to send an item to another user just go to Bita Main, type in their username, select your items and send it off! I always thought going to the post office was fun, so hopefully this virtual version will be to. Enjoy!

A mysterious Mitsu known only as the "Marshmallow Man" has set up a stand and is selling...what else? Marshmallows! He will be here today and tomorrow selling a couple basic types of marshmallows. And on New Year's Eve he'll be giving out a different free special marshmallow each hour to roast at the big Winter Celebration Bonfire until the sun comes up! Anybody who claims every single one of the marshmallows will get a very special prize. There will be many awesome things happening tomorrow during the main day of the Winter Celebration, so don't miss it!

Also, some new pet activities have been added. Find the items above and see if your pet is up to the challenge! The Hammer and Chisel is the first tool that needs to be equipped in order to complete a task. More activities of this type will be coming soon!

And lastly, the 19th page of From the Top of the World has been posted. This concludes the first chapter of the story. You're comments and suggestions will tell me if I should continue the story or not. If not, I have another one I'm working on up my sleeve, so either way I don't mind. XD;

The wonderful Sweety has re-drawn the Chikai. We wanted to keep it fairly similar to the original, since this species was very important to the original creator, Yasuragi. However, it did need an update to look like the current SBP style. Anyway, hope you enjoy~!

As you can no doubt see if you're set for the default layout, Starbits has taken on a rather chilly appearance for the first day of Winter and for the first day of the Winter Celebration. All kinds of activities will take place this week in Bita, so keep an eye out. And remember, if you want to revisit the summer or fall layouts you can always switch back by going to your preferences. Enjoy the new layout!
