I apologize for the random downtime we've been having. According to our host it was because we had a "brief period of excessive resource usage" which I find funny since the site has actually been less busy than usual. XD; But anyway I got that sorted out for the moment, hopefully it won't happen again.

Expect some updates in the future. I just got back from break so I'm busy once again, but I have some stuff planned so keep an eye out!

There is now an official weekly Oekaki contest to foster the arts in our SBP community~! :> This week's theme is painting and entries to the contest will be used for the game's icon and banner on the Games page. There are two levels, intermediate and advanced. That way everyone will get a chance at the prizes. To learn more about how to enter and the specific rules visit the contest page. This is a great way to show off or practice your skills...and make bits! Everyone who participates gets a prize~! Let's liven up that oekaki with lots of great artwork!

This doesn't mean to stop the cool contests that you individual users sponsor though. Those are always fun for everybody, and you guys come up with much better themes than me. XD; Keep up the good work, and happy drawing!

The game Higher or Lower is now available once again! There were some pretty weird problems with it. One of our old staff members, Ryan, actually coded the game and since his style is different than mine it was kind of difficult to figure out exactly what was wrong with it. Sooo...I changed a few variables around and apparently it works. We'll see if I messed up anything else important in the game by doing that, but until then, enjoy~!

The quests for Innin are over! You can pick up your prizes at the Inner Sanctuary of the shrine. But don't be sad, Innin checks your shrines all year round for offerings she likes, so don't forget to keep them stocked up. You'll know if she likes something because she'll leave a message. :>

Also, thanks for being patient with this. Exams messed up my groove, but I should be able to update normally again. And (just because I have to make a plug for myself XD;) I've finally finished my personal blog/gallery site heidisprouse.com. If you want to know what's going on in my world or see some of my artwork and maybe even some Starbits previews check there often (and leave comments!). Anyway, look forward to some updates soon~!

Edit: Glitch was fixed. You can now pick up your prizes. Sorry 'bout that.

You can now give us some feedback and earn bits for doing it! Go to the new Vote page under games to earn 100 bits for every question you answer. This is a great way to tell us what you want and when. :> I will be adding more questions in the future so check back often!

Also, I'm sorry to say that I'm taking the Calendar Contest page down. It has been up for a couple of years and we got next to no submissions. If you actually did send in something and it was accepted prize money has been sent to you. Also, I'm reworking the Writing Contest page, so that will be down for a while. It will be back up soon more organized and with better guidelines. It will also be set up so where submissions don't go missing. <__< That's why if you sent anything in you probably never heard from me. Anyway, go and vote and look forward to some cool updates coming soon~!

You can now do quests for Innin! Just go to the Inner Sanctuary of the Shrine of Innin. She will be asking for food for a week and then will give out prizes depending on how many tasks you complete. Have fun and enjoy~! :> Hopefully it won't be too glitchy, if you find anything wrong just let me know.

You can now visit the Shrine of Innin! Things are still being set up, but you can now see the different parts of the shrine, learn about Innin, buy items from Aerie (the head priestess, drawn by Ghiffi :>), and even buy your own shrine and leave offerings. More stuff will be happening tomorrow, so stay tuned~!

A new location has appeared under Travel! Unfortunately, the priests and priestesses are cleaning the place so furiously that you cannot yet enter...however, it looks like whatever they are preparing for will be pretty awesome!

Important announcement to anybody who has sent packages or had unopened packages recently!
Somehow the table in the database that had all of the package information got deleted...so if you have an unopened package in your inventory and it won't open OR if you sent any gifts or packages yesterday and they haven't been delivered yet please send me a Starmail outlining what is missing and I'll refund everything. Thanks!

In other news, despite that glitchy package thing, my glitch-busting is going very smoothly. Today I have discovered the origin of those mystery items that weren't showing up in your inventory but were showing up in the post office. That has been fixed...and you may find some Spooky Lollypops, Really Fake Tsuki Tattos, and some Pumpkin Squash in your inventory if that glitch happened to you. :> I've also fixed to the joy (and sadness) of many the Rock, Paper, Scissors glitch where you got payed even when you lost. Please make sure that this stuff has been fixed and give me feed back on this page. One final note, please fill out this Auto-Pet Eating Poll. I have no leads on this glitch and I need more info. Everyone who helps out will get a prize too, so you have something to gain for your efforts.
