I am going to prohibit Adoption Agencies for now. Not because it is a particularly bad thing to do, but because there just are not enough pets in the shelter, and if Agencies adopt all of them and screen who and who cannot get them, it just isn't a good situation. No one in particular is being targeted, and if you feel like you were, it is just a misunderstanding. All users, should be able to adopt a pet, and it shouldn't be up to any user to choose who get a pet.

I will say that maybe when there are more pets in the Center I will allow them, but wait a month or two.

If you did make one, feel free to turn it into an Adoption Promotion site, or a donations for the Rescue Center site, just at this point, I do not really want Adoption Agencies other than the one that I put on the site. The Adoption Center is not simply some means to transport pets to other users, it is a facility where pets are fed and cared for untill someone who really wants a pet and will keep it as their own adopts it. Sorry for any trouble, and I encourage you to adopt pets if you really want them. This thing was blown a little out of proportion, and I am hoping this will solve the problem.

I have finally finished the Adopton Center! You can now adopt a pet for 1000 bits, or disown a pet. You can find the link for the Adoption Center on the Starbits page.

There is also now a Rescue Center! The Rescue Center takes starving pets from inactive users and puts them into the adoption center before they die. The center needs donations though, it takes a lot of money to get a warrent from the Bita government to sieze a pet. You can also find a link on the Starbits Page.

Muhahahaha! The death script is now back up and working! I'm not going into too many details because then you will just never feed your pet except when you have to, but you will be glad to know that your pet cannot die while you are on vacation and the script is much more forgiving than it used to be.

Finally, one of the most basic drinks has arrived in Bita! These cool cartons of milk come in several flavors for any occasion. If you are wondering what the things on the front are, they are Cites, a type of minibit that particularly likes milk and cheese. You will be able to find these new items at Fresh Food Market. Enjoy!

I have finally brought back Starfriends! Starfriends are a selected group of users that you choose. They are usually people who you talk to a lot. To make someone your Starfriend you must go to their profile and click the smiley face icon by their username. Then that user must accept your request.

I have also fixed the Mail and Starfriend Preferences on the Prefs page. This means that you can now choose to only recieve Starmail from your Starfriends, or you could accept mail from no one. Same goes for Starfriend requests.

And, I fixed a few things that were bothering me. The site looked really bad in Internet Explorer, so I centered some stuff, and put some things into alignment. I also put more "Are you sure you want to do this?" alert boxes on shops and other pages, so you don't accidently click on something and buy it. That's all! I hope you like it!

I don't know if this truly counts as news material, but since everyone reads the news, this works. Anyway, everyday my mailbox is filled with spam Starmail. Things like "hi" and "aoptyapet" count as spam, and you know what happens to spammers.

Also, today alone I received at least ten "can i be staff" mails. If I want you for staff I personally ask you, at this point I am not taking aplications. I guess it was not so much the actual asking as it was the use of bad grammer and lack of capitalization...

Anyway! On a lighter note, you can look forward to the Harvest Festival, the staffies are currently working on making some pretty spiffy things for the day.
