There are a few new items thanks to our lovely staff members. We have rather Villainous Coat from Sweety, and the Rayashika and some Shroons from Lumos. ;D

I also have finished Starfriends. Just go to people's profiles and click 'add Starfriend'! The system should be much smoother, but if there are any bugs, feel free to mail me about it.

I have added contests to the Games page! There is the updated Writing Contest, which is awesome as usual, and I'm hoping for lots of new submissions soon *hint hint*.

I also added a little something called the Calendar Contest. You'll have to read the details, but pretty much you submit a picture and if it's chosen it will be put in the Starbits Calendar that will be sold in the Online Store! Pretty nifty eh? ^^ Anyway, I'm really hoping for a lot of submissions, I really love seeing all of the interesting Starbits stuff you guys come up with. Enjoy~!

There is a new flash game that I think you all will enjoy, it is called Avery Allen and the Beadfruit Bandit. It is simple, but fun. ;D

I also put a mute background music button on Bees & Bubbles. It doesn't work quite right yet, but I'll fix it later.

And, as far as I know, you can now move items to and from Storage and in-between rooms now without a problem. And I also finished up the send item script, so you can trade stuff.

So that just leaves the clothing/minibit/tool problem, which I am still trying to sort out. I should have it done soon though, so don't worry. Enjoy the updates!

Yay! Just as I expected, there are a ton of glitches. So far the major glitches that I have noticed (and not yet fixed) are:

1. You cannot move items to/from storage in IE (and probably the newest version of Firefox).
2. The Minibit, clothing, and equipment system is just plain messed up. XD If all of a sudden your equipped clothing, minibits, and tools dissapear that is because I moved them all to your inventory so I can fix the problem, so please don't freak out.

Also, there seems to be a lot of people who didn't read the instructions and didn't know that they could transfer their account, or they forgot their old password and can't transfer. If this happened to you, please e-mail me at chi_zu@bellsouth.net and I'll delete your new account and get you your old password so you can transfer.

Thanks for being so positive everyone! I know there are still a lot of missing features, but I'm working really hard to get them all back, so please be patient. Thanks!

The artists haven't been slacking off during the downtime! There are some new Dress Shirts by Sweety, some Chicken Soup and a Chinchilla from Lumos, and a Rubber Appie from Ghiffi. There are more on the way, so keep your eyes peeled!

Welcome to Starbits Pets Version 3 Alpha! Thanks to everyone for being so patient and encouraging! I have gotten a lot done, but there are still many features that are in the works and many bugs that are being worked out. Usershops were causing me some problems, so I am still working on those...and a few of the newer features are still being tested for bugs, so you'll have to be patient until I can put all of that stuff up.

I have decided to set up a "Grace Week" so that people can get their residences in order and get a feel for the site. Therefore, for ten days pets will not get hungry, bored, tired, go on activities, be rescued, or die. After that week it will be business as usual, so make sure to read up how to take care of your pets this week, because A LOT is different.

Fortunately, there are quite a few things that are done. Pretty much the whole site has been re-coded. Even the parts that looks the same have been re-coded to be safer and more efficient. Below is a list of things that are new in SBP3 Alpha.

• Starbits System - The whole Starbits system has been redone. Pets personalities are much more complex, as well as their needs. Starbits now get sleepy, need to feel loved and safe, and need to stay healthy. They can also now make friends and go on journeys. Each pet has favorite toys, foods, and more, so experiment until you find out what they like.
• Items System - The items system has been completely redone. You now have rooms in your house and have to buy extra space to fit your items and pets. If it is too cramped or cluttered your Starbits will feel unsafe, so make sure to keep it clean. Items such as minibits, equipment, and clothing now have a purpose. Minibits can help on activities and make your pet feel happy. And clothing and equipment can provide protection.
• New Game - We now have our first flash game, Bees & Bubbles. It is very awesome, 'nuff said.
• New Items - Throughout the week new items will be added. Some of them are pretty awesome, so make sure to keep up!
• There is so much more that you'll just have to find out for yourself, look around and discover!

There is also a new pet, the Ziegen! It is a medium-large sized Starbit that loves to roam about the vast plains of Bita. Thanks to Silver Wolf for creating it!

Today's items include beadfruit, a minibit plushie, and a toy full of Bita's version of catnip. :D
