As you can no doubt see, in honor of the season summer I've made a new layout! It is a throw-back to the "Firefly Tsuki" layout which so many users were fond of back in the day.

Anyway, I'm still messing around with link colors and whatnot, but it's pretty much done. Enjoy~!

The new plush store, Starbits Stuffing is now open! I'm still working on making the banner and whatnot, but if you want some handmade plushies that's the place to buy them! Right now the only ones for sale are Baby Bean Sprouts for $7.50...and they're selling like hotcakes, so if you want one, act quickly! I sold one within the first hour that I put up my shop. XD

Also, I am now making custom Starbits related plushies and bean sprouts using Etsy's Alchemy feature, so if you've always wanted a plushie version of your favorite minibit, item, or Starbit, you can request it!

Some of you may be wondering why I switched to Etsy when I had my own online store. For one, I can now accept check and money orders, so if you can't use Paypal you can send me money directly. I can also now ship to other countries more easily...so for you Australians who wanted plushies, you can now get them. ;D Also, more people go on Etsy so I will be able to make more money (which is a definite plus) and the Alchemy feature allows me to easily manage custom orders now.

Maybe someday when I have more products I'll go back to my own online store, but for now this makes more sense. It's hard to focus on the plushies and Starbits and at the same time try to do the online store I coded myself.

And one one last note...All of the plushies that were on the old store will be returning once I make them. I'm almost done with some Wandering Bean Sprouts...and Blasti and Riceball Friends will be returning soon after. Also, I finally figured out the prototype for the first Crelevision, so expect some brand new products soon~! Enjoy!

The Starmail pages have been redone a bit so they look nicer...I originally coded the Starmail script in about two hours so I could get the site up on time so I didn't pay attention to how it looked...now it looks a bit better. ;D I still may do some work on it, but overall I'm done.

I've also changed the way that the emotion icons work...now instead of using things like this :] you use things like this :happy:. This should fix a few problems.

Also, now Starmail and the Forums use the same BBcode, so every code that works on the forums will now work in Starmail. Enjoy!

Recently I've seen a spike in signatures over the size limit, be it Squiby adoptions or banners. Remember that the limit for signatures and forum text add-ons is 450 pixels for width and 125 pixels for height. While all Squiby adoptions are over the limit, they are permitted on user profiles, so feel free to put them there instead! Post a little message in your signature to direct people to them if you have to- but please don't go over our lovely limit. ;)

Any signatures or forum texts that are still over the limit in 24 hours will receive the warning promised in the forum rules.

Bad news first, nobody can transfer or combine old accounts anymore. I finally figured out why it wouldn't work...an old database table (the items table to be exact) was lost in the transfer from MonsterHost to A2hosting...so trying to transfer and getting no items from it would be a bit of a waste. I was going to discontinue this feature anyway, and since there's no way of fixing it at this point I decided to go ahead and do it. If you particularly want your old avatars or certain old pets off of the old database, send me a note through the 'Contact' form and I'll see what I can do. But only if you're nice. ;D

In good news, I put the newly rewritten maps page up. A must for any Bitian writer or scholar, you can learn all the facts about all of the locations in Bita. Unfortunately, I'm still coding the whole Travel system, but at least you'll get to know what's in store once I'm done.

It turns out that the problem with the baby pet feeding had to do with the script makes the hunger bars show up, not the pet eating script...so that makes things a lot easier. XD I did recode the feeding script, just to make it more organized and to check to make sure everything was actually working, but it was only the bars that were showing the information incorrectly that were the cause of the glitch.

So anyway, pet will get hungry, sleepy, etc. again. Thanks for putting up with my experimenting with the bars last night making them all sorts of random sizes. Now I should be able to fix the auto-pet feeding script, so expect that sometime in the near future.

As you can tell, all of your pets' stats have been reset. This is so I can re-code the feeding system, because no matter how much I patch up the current script it doesn't seem to cooperate. So until I finish your pets will not be able to get hungry, sleep, sad, etc.

This recode shouldn't take to long, so don't worry...and expect lots of awesome updates very soon. ;D

Since the poor little Fools that grew up had no image, I decided to go ahead and draw them one. I know I said I was going to let you vote, but this is the only pose that remotely looked any good so yeah. XD I'll let you guys vote on the Starren whenever I decided to sneak it back in. Anyway, I added some details to it, just for fun...and I decided to keep the round eyes and 'stabby' leg style rather then go back to the old Fool style because in the past people complained that the Tsuki and the Fool were too similar.

The silly April Fools style baby Fool image will be updated soon as well, but since baby Fools are practically non-existent since most of them are grown up...I figure I'll put that one off for a bit. ;D I'm also going to update the Pet List Fool entry today, so check that page later to finally learn some facts about this rare little species.
