The Chari has gotten a redraw as you can no doubt see~! It really deserved it too...we've been using that same image since the start of SBP2...wow. It used to be one of the most popular pets back in the day...when SBP first opened it was the most popular species. But, since I neglected it for so long its popularity has waned and become one of the less common types. Perhaps now it will get the respect it deserves as being one of the first species around. This is actually something that I had been working on before I decided to recode the site, but then for some reason I forgot about it. But I recently ran back across it and decided to revive the project. So what is it? It's our very own Starbits toolbar! If you install it, it shows up on the top of your browser and keeps you connected to SBP wherever you venture on the internet. The current features of the bar include an easy link system (which means that you can jump to the Candy Store with only one click instead of several), a new starmail/pet activity/news notifier, a starbits search bar, a regular internet searchbar, and an online chat room just for Starbar users. I plan on adding more features, such as a more in-depth pet activity tracker, and I also plan on posting a stickied topic on the suggestions board just for ideas for new applications for the bar.

Best of all, by downloading and using this bar you are supporting the site. So download it and try it out, and if you have any ideas post them on the board! I also plan on making my own download page that describes all the different features, so keep an eye out for that as well.

They're up! Make sure your pets are fed so that they'll go on activities, or keep some food in your house and they'll eat on their own! You'll have to wait to get all of the different types of activities...there are quite a few.

I decided to go ahead and upload what I have done so far...but I will add more and more stuff as time goes on. There are still a bunch of art activities that still need to be added, but they will be soon. Anyway, enjoy! And don't forget to chat about the different types of activities you've gotten on the forums. ;D

On a super awesome note, I only have one script left to code before pet activities come back! They should be up super soon, so look forward to it! I would go ahead and clean everything now, since I'm going to finish veeeery soon. ;D

Alllrighttt....I actually fixed it this time. All of the automatic scripts should work now. So pets should get hungry, games should reset, etc.

Sorry it took me so long to fix...I talked to the host people but they didn't give me the correct info so I had to do some research on my own. ;D

So, for some reason while I was off at my college orientation all of the cron jobs (a.k.a. automatic running scripts) got deleted...so pets stopped getting hungry, the games stopped resetting, and a bunch of other stuff. Well anyway, I fixed it. I have no clue why they got deleted, but everything should work now. Sorry for the inconvenience. ;D

In other news I only have two scripts left to complete before pet activities are done. I should be done in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

Just so everyone knows that I'm not neglecting the site...As I have been for a while now I'm currently still working on pet activities. However, I'm now actually making significant progress and I'm probably have about 65% of all of the scripts completely done. It's taking me so long because I keep expanding upon the system, making it more and more detailed...but don't worry, I plan to have this done way before the end of summer...so please stick with us!

And when I'm not doing that I'm working on the Starbits Stuffing Store. I'm almost ready to put three Riceball Friend Plushes up for sale...and I'm about to introduce two new Chlorophyll Friends products, so don't forget to check out the plushie store often.
