Congratulations to *Circe* and Flares for winning the Apasuion themed Oekaki Contest! Sorry it took me so long to get this together, it seemed like every time I sat down to finish this up the internet would go down. XD; It was hard to judge this time around because we had so many good advanced entries. I picked Flares though because it captured the personality of the Apasuion the best I think. Because it took me so long to judge that contest you all get an extra special contest. :> The rules for this special oekaki contest are simple...Create your own minibit and draw it on the Oekaki. If it wins then it will become an actual minibit that people can buy on SBP! This contest will be based more on the design than drawing skill so everyone has a chance! The only thing to keep in mind is that this minibit will be named Chiwanaby so make sure that your creation fits that name. This contest ends on October 1st so you have plenty of time to work out your ideas. Good luck! I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with! :D

Since I fixed my tablet finally, I decided I'd try out my new Photoshop CS5 by drawing up some new pet activities for you all. :> There are also some new colored papers that you can pick up at the Arts & Crafts Shop to make these. Enjoy~!

I've fixed a couple glitches. You can now cancel it if you accidentally press the "Clear Inbox" button on Starmail...that should be useful. ;D Also, the "Check All" button on your inventory now works correctly. Before when you were in a certain item category such as "Toys" it would take you back to all items when you clicked Check All.

Also, I went out and got a very good student deal on Adobe CS5 with my college funds. Not only will this help me in the graphic design program at school but I now have Photoshop CS5 instead of Photoshop 6 (XD;) and the new Dreamweaver as well as many other cool programs. So, once I fix up my tablet driver problem I will be able to finish up gardens and the Lanternfly Festival. Rejoice! I will try to update as much as possible, even if it's little things. You guys deserve a more active site. :>

I have just finished my first week back in college...moving in, getting used to things, going to classes, etc.

Now that I'm a bit more settled I shall resume work on SBP probably tomorrow. :> Sorry for the hiatus, things were a bit rockier than I expected.

Also, due to lack of applications/me not being around the Oekaki Contest deadline has been moved to September 1st. Thanks for being understanding.

Okay, so the forums were re-set again. I didn't inform all of my staff not to delete blank topics, and I think these mysterious blank topics are the root of the problem. When a staff member deletes a blank topic it seems to delete all topics, so if anybody sees one of these blank topics on the forums, please let me know so that I can analyze it properly and get to the bottom of this problem.

Once again, I apologize. We've never had this problem before and I have not changed that part of the forum scripts recently. Don't worry though, I shall get to the bottom of it.

UPDATE: We've found the root of the problem, so everything should be fixed soon. Thanks for putting up with this.

The forums were reset due to a glitch where all the topics got deleted...It's inconvenient I know, especially for roleplayers, auctioneers, and people with art boards, but it shouldn't happen again so post to your heart's content and build up the boards again!

Also, I've sorted out some of the memory problems by buying more RAM. This will add an additional cost every month which hopefully I can manage. Honestly, I don't know exactly how I'm going to manage since I'm going back to college and will have to start buying all my own food again and only have only exactly enough money to cover two months hosting...but we shall see. I will do my best, so don't worry. :> Now that I've got that memory issue sorted out I can work on the Lanternfly festival prizes again, so keep an eye out for those tomorrow!

I apologize for the short downtime earlier. It took a while for the payment for the domain name to go through so the site got taken down temporarily. We've also been experiencing some problems due to increased traffic on the site...that's why some of the main shops were not restocking and some pages were not loading properly. We may or may not have to upgrade our hosting package...Still debating that. Anyway, for the next couple of days if there seem to be any problems it's due to running out of site memory. If you refresh the page or return later the problems should be fixed. I'm hoping to resolve this issue tomorrow after I decide which course of action is best. Thanks for sticking around and sorry for the inconvenience. :>

Since we had no advanced entries this time around for our Oekaki Contest, I picked two intermediate winners. Congrats to yui and Telophone! :D Your pieces really got the personality of Addison across. Next contest's theme are Apasuions! Get drawing! ;P

Also, the first round of Lanternfly Prizes has been released (finally)! To pick up your first prize visit your lantern hanging in the forest at the Festival Grounds. In order to claim this prize you have to have had at least 100 energies collected. Each time you claim a prize energies will be taken out of your lantern...so only the people with the most energies at the end will be able to get the later prizes. Don't worry though if you don't even have 100 energies, you'll still get prizes at the very end just for participating. :> Enjoy!
