compared to when sbp was up back in the day. id love to see improvement and just your art in general! ive missed viewing that kinda stuff. if you’re interested in my new work, ill follow up with some links. i know ive changed a lot in artwork since back then. i still have my old sbp art saved on my computer and i look at it now and im like “oh dear lord…” eeheheee. its amazing how much a person and their art can change in a year! here’s some recent stuff: link 1; link 2; link 3; link 4; link 5; link 6; link 7; link 8
the first 2 are art trades with people i know on art sites. the following 3 are of my ocs (original characters), while the last 3 are obviously pokemon! sorry for the spam. i wanted to give some good examples, but i might be coming off as braggy or show-offy. >n>

@chocolate: oooo you have improved! and improvement is good, dont get me wrong! your new stuff is really nice, very good color combinations and shading techniques~ i should add some links to my older artwork like you did haha!

that was the kinda stuff i was drawing back when sbp was up before the hiatus started in march. i think i improved lol. definitely found new interests of things i wanna draw and matured as an artist i think!!

lol that bunny is pretty old. i designed it as an OC with someone back in the day. and yes, maturing is G O O D!! sometimes i feel i mature and change too often or too fast though D:

@strawhands: L-LIKE, how you kept it as a single shade and didn’t shade it? ?v? ?? I dunno, I think changing often or fast is kinda nice. ouo Though it is nice to change slowly because it’s more familiar D:

@chocolate: OH i gotcha! i shaded them actually, but not by means of choosing similar yet different shades of the same color. i used a black wash over shaded areas then blended it. its kinda lazy, but it works. i havent drawn here lately and the most recent is the dragon pic “Lando”. that one i changed my shading into what i think you’re talking about. ive been iffy on my shading techniques, so im working on finding something i like. and yeah! but not even in art sometimes. i flip flop personalities often sometimes. @n@ like how i used to be mean!! >D>

I love seeing how people’s art progresses. It’s really a self esteem boost personally to look back at all my awful old work and see what’s actually changed. That and seeing other’s improve is equally great c:

@chocolate: haha! yeah ive changed a lot in personality, i think. my art has changed dramatically too. and yeah, i used to be really mean and trolly. thank goodness i dragged myself out of that phase. its dumb. >D> i talk to everyone now and i try to be as friendly as possible~
@kip: it has already been proven that you are amazing hdjgh ive been in love with your artwork ever since i first met you. you have improved a lot though! you still use similar techniques but i love whatever techniques you use. <3
@wolfeden: oh but you have improved a lot!! so remember that you'll always keep improving. we are all still learning and improving so dont feel left behind. also, bastion is a cutie eheheeeeeeee. i love the colors!~

@cheddarwalrus Well, I suppose that it’s a self-esteem booster. But don’t you feel kinda embarrassed when you look back!? Like a sort of, “oh god how did i even think that was cool” etc?!

@chocolate honestly not really xD I mean yeah it’s like “oh I had weird taste” but I’m not really all that embarrassed heh.
Man I’d even be willing to show other people all of my really bad old stuff even from when I was 12 and drew awful Naruto OCs :V
