Merry Christmas (and other holidays) Starbitters! As a little gift for all you dedicated Bitians, I’ve added a new “Starbits Goodies” page for you guys to enjoy. So far I’ve added the redone Bees and Bubbles theme that myst and I did a few months ago, as well as the never released “Dance of the Bubblebees REMIX” .mp3′s for you guys to download.

I added some more forum categories so that we have more specific areas to post Starbits related content. All these new boards can be found under “All Things Starbits.” I may add some more boards or rearrange them again at some point, but at least we’ll be a bit more organized now. :> The new boards are as follows:

General Starbits Discussion
Starbits Development
- General SBP Ideas and Development
- Pet Development
- Item Development

You may notice that I’ve moved some of the Starbits related topics into the new categories. Hopefully they’ll be easy to find. I may also add some forum categories for specifically Bita Labs related things, but for now this is good. I look forward to reading all your great ideas for SBP!

Wiki!

One of the main things I’d like to achieve is to have a complete and comprehensive Starbits Wiki. In this wiki should be detailed information about all Starbits, minibits, and items, as well as site history, holidays, etc. Obviously, it would take me forever to write all this information alone, so I’m opening it up to everyone who wants to help out to add and edit wiki pages. If you would like to help, just message me or comment on this post so I can give you Author permissions. Feel free to add more content to any page or create pages for missing things. Don’t worry about organization or anything as we can always go back and reorganize and recategorize.

The first article that I’ve finished is the one for Zikklefruit, as it is one of the more important/recognizable things from SBP. There is also a page about Apasuion that has all the variations listed and such. You can use these two pages as a template for making others if you’d like. Anyway, check it out! I look forward to reading what you guys write!

Also, if you haven’t noticed already, I made a logo for Bita Labs as well as added a link to the Oekaki and the Labs on the old SBP homepage so it isn’t blank. I’ll keep updating the look of Bita Labs for now and make it easier to navigate and such, so let me know what you think.

Hello all! Welcome to the new Bita Labs, a place where everyone can keep in touch with their SBP friends as well as plan for when Starbits v.4 is released.

For those who don’t already know…

Starbits Pets is currently on hiatus because I (chizu) currently have neither the time nor funds to properly host/manage the site. After I graduate I do plan on starting SBP up again and to do so I need to a) start raising some money, and b) plan plan plan!

One of the problems that SBP had before is that I was always changing the direction of the site. This caused lots of discrepancies and the whole site was pretty disorganized. In order to make SBP v.4 really work I’d like to come up with a clear direction and story line and plan every aspect around it. This is where you guys come in. I’m going to be having lots of forum discussions and polls to figure out the different aspects of gameplay and such. I’ll probably also be redoing the designs of the Starbits as well and I’d like everyone’s opinions.

So, if you know any previous Starbitters, please point them in this direction so we can start planning! I’m working on getting a wiki set up as well so that we can document previous Starbit information of reference as we plan the new site. Thank you all for sticking with SBP and have fun chatting in the forums!
